WOW!!! I am so stoked to have this place in my neighborhood. The owners are super cool, staff was very friendly, and the food was really really good.
I had a BBQ chicken sandwich and half expected the meat to be a little dry and the sauce to just be OK (we are in Aptos after all :) But, I was pleasantly surprised to bite into my gigantic sandwich and find the meat to be buttery soft and juicy and the sauce to be tangy, sweet and smoky.
The sides were also good. I really enjoyed the cole slaw. It wasn't too sweet and it was simple, no extra ingredients. Essentially it was just like my grandmothers cole slaw...and that is hard to mimic.
If you are into beer, this place has a really long list of small brewery samplings to try...I didn't even go there. But, I was impressed by the list and will try some next time I go back.
For sure try this place. It is really good and seems to get really crowded. So, be prepared to take your time.

First of all fairly priced yummy food in Aptos in hard to come by but these guys have it down. They even stayed open late to let me pick take out up as they closed. Rare find on great customer service in this area!! The food is awesome too!

Absolutely delicious! Can't wait to go back. I'm a huge fan of real smoked pulled pork, and this place nailed it. A friend had ribs and tri tip, and loved his. Along with a huge beer list, this place has just become a favorite.
